This standard 11.3 kg disposable cylinder contains high-purity R-407C refrigerant, a premier non-ozone-depleting HFC blend designed to replace R-22 in positive displacement residential and commercial air conditioning equipment. Composed of a zeotropic mixture (23% R-32, 25% R-125, and 52% R-134a), it offers closely matching operating pressures and capacities to legacy gases, making it an industry-standard choice for system retrofits.
The cylinder features a standard connection valve and a durable carry handle for straightforward transport to job sites. Because R-407C has a significant temperature glide, it must always be charged from the cylinder in the liquid phase to preserve its exact chemical composition. Note that this refrigerant is incompatible with older mineral oils and requires a complete lubricant flush and replacement with synthetic Polyolester (POE) oil during equipment conversion.
